Our classes maintain a maximum ratio of six students per instructor to ensure personalized attention and effective learning.

We supply all necessary equipment, including (soft-top and hard-top) surfboards and wetsuits. If you prefer to use your own surf gear, please inform us beforehand.

Typically, our surf lessons are two hours long, with approximately 60 minutes spent in the water. They include warming up and surf theory and practice on land.

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a towel, drinking water and light snacks. Depending on the season, appropriate swimwear or additional (warmer) layers may be necessary.

Yes, participants should be able to swim and feel comfortable in the ocean, as surfing involves navigating waves and different natural water conditions.

The minimum age is 6 years old. We offer private lessons only, which can be one-on-one or in a small group of kids. Our priority is making sure the kids have fun and learn at their own pace. If a child wants to finish the session earlier, we’ll happily adjust the lesson fee accordingly

The number may vary per individual. However, taking 5 to 9 lessons is generally recommended before attempting to surf solo, as this helps build the necessary skills and confidence

The withdrawal from the course participation is possible at any time and must be declared in written form (the written form is also guaranteed with an e-mail). In the case of a withdrawal from the trip on the part of the participant, we may demand reimbursement of expenses. More info on our booking policy can be found here.

Yes, we offer multi-session package discounts for two or more surf lessons. Prepaying for multiple lessons provides a reduced price per lesson. Our most popular option is the 5 day surf package which includes surf equipment rental and video analysis, as well. Please, visit our pricing page for details.

While we do not offer accommodations directly, we can assist in recommending beach house rentals and other lodging options in the Peniche area.

Yes, transportation from the surf school or meeting point is included.

Beyond surfing, Peniche offers various activities such as big wave watching in Nazaré, attending WSL surfing competitions, beach parties, yoga and wellness, local surf community events, historical sightseeing or trying the excellent local cuisine.
